I know you’ve already heard this a million times but, where is this year going? I can’t quite believe I’m currently writing my August faves and we’re about to move into September? But you know what that means? AUTUMN, yay!
This month I decided to give my Becca highlight/blush in Prosecco pop/Pamplemousse another go after never really being a fan of either shades on my fair skin tone. But after I’ve been a little bit more tanned, it actually suits me now! So I’ve been using it a lot and really loving it. I also sometimes like to mix the shades together for a beautiful glowy blush.
Also being slightly more tanned, meant that I needed to buy some darker foundation and I rekindled my love for the Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless foundation. I really like how lightweight this feels, yet still gives coverage. The finish leaves my skin satin/matte and I love it! Definitely one of my favourite foundations.
This month I’ve been a bit of a serial-lipstick-trier and gone through ALL of the formulas, colours and finishes you can think of. My favourite has been this GWA liquid matte lipstick in ‘mermaid kiss’. I absolutely love the formula, there’s nothing worse than a liquid lip that dries your lips out but this feels amazing on the lips. It is the most gorgeous orange/nude shade.
I’ve been using this Nivea ‘good bye cellulite’ gel cream for 2-3 weeks and I’ve already noticed a huge difference in my skin on my thighs. They look so much firmer already, so I’m really exited to see how they will look if I carry on using this!
I really wanted to try this ‘illuminating mineral water mist’ from Primark after seeing it on Instagram. You can use this so many different ways! I spray it onto my beauty blender, use it as a fixing spray to make my skin look less powdery, and spray it onto my skin before makeup! It’s such a lovely, handy product to have an would be amazing to take on holiday.
I also saw the L’oreal Hydra Genius Aloe Water on Instagram. This is SO hydrating but also really lightweight. I love this for my dry skin because a lot of ‘hydrating’ moisturizers can be really heavy and greasy but this one definitely isn’t.
I would love to know what your favourites have been this month! Thanks for reading.
